// Overview

The digital product team at Whiteboard is looking for a Senior Product Manger who can masterfully identify a client’s business needs, and work with both the client and our internal team to define and create a beautiful and innovative product. 

 

// Key Qualities

  • Passionate about application development for mobile devices and mobile web browsers
  • Experience working with mobile cross platform development frameworks like React Native on iOS and Android
  • Strong track record of leading teams building high-performance apps for mobile devices
  • Curious while working with others and finding robust, scalable solutions that derive high customer value
  • Enjoy solving challenging operational issues and to help customers build the next generation of mobile web applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team

// Responsibilities

  • Lead refinement meetings to break down work into shippable pieces
  • Conduct user research to become an expert on your users and uncover important problems that need to be solved to hit business objectives
  • Lead discovery efforts to help the team find and work on the right things at the right time
  • Understand and advocate for customer needs to ensure we are building the right product functionality at the right time to deliver maximum value to our consumers and business
  • Fulfill the duties of a product owner on an agile development team, including requirements definition, story writing, backlog prioritization, and feature roadmap creation
  • Partner with business and development teams to identify objectives, determine initiative scope, and document requirements 
  • Maintain a product scorecard to measure and report on the success of launch functionality and platforms health

 

// Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Manager role, preferably in a top tier agency in product design, software development, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - in short, people like you. You need to be able to make a great first impression and maintain that impression. You are able to build genuine, lasting relationships with clients, not just close deals.
  • Able to pitch Whiteboard to clients with confidence, clarity and credibility.
  • Ability to identify risks in a relationship, and work with the extended service team to mitigate these risks before they impact a client.
  • Experience having the hard conversations with clients, and delivering both good and bad news to the client and internal teams.
  • Passion for great design, and a strong understanding of the product design process and lifecycle.
